Atlanta Nephrology Referral Center
A Nephrology group, currently comprising seven Nephrologists, five Nurse Practitioners
and one Physician Assistant. The main offices are located at Decatur, Lawrenceville,
and Conyers with satellite offices at Snellville, Snapfinger, Covington,and Monroe.
The activities of ANRC are dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation
of patients with kidney disease.
The range of clinical practice of the group include hospital consultations and management,
office consultations and follow up, chronic kidney disease management in cooperation
with PCP’s and other specialists as indicated. In addition we offer education, planning
and management of renal replacement therapy, including peritoneal dialysis, in center
hemodialysis, nocturnal hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and transplantation.
Cooperation and sharing of information with PCP and other consultants is emphasized in
order to optimize patient outcomes. Management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and complications
is emphasized with the main goal being slow progression, protect cardiovascular system, treat
complications, education and planning of replacement therapy.
ANRC Nephrologists manage state of the art, platinum level facilities including eleven (11)
Outpatient dialysis units : Decatur, South DeKalb, Snapfinger, Conyers, Covington, Monroe,
Snellville, Tucker, Lawrenceville, and Newton, four (4) Peritoneal dialysis facilities: Decatur,
Lawrenceville, Newton and Monroe facilities and two(2) Nocturnal dialysis units: Lawrenceville and
South DeKalb.
ANRC nephrologists are affiliated with Rockdale Medical Center, Gwinnett Hospital System,
DeKalb Medical System and Emory Eastside Medical Center.
