The night before the biopsy, eat a very light dinner. An hour after eating, take (3) three tablespoons of Milk of Magnesium.

Do not eat anything after midnight. You may have clear liquids on the morning of and take any medications as normal, except insulin. If you are using insulin, please discuss with nurse or doctor.

DO NOT TAKE ANY ASPIRIN CONTAINING MEDICATION FOR AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE BIOPSY.

The morning of the biopsy, you will need to be at the hospital at 8:00 am. You check in at the desk inside the main entrance of hospital. You will spend the night after the biopsy.
